About

My name is Maria Mendoza-Boc

You may call me Marie. I am a Proud Conservative running for State Representative, House District 27. Why? There are many reasons but my main reason is for my Family and Yours. I’m a grandmother and I'm concerned about their future and the world they will grow up in once I'm gone. I firmly believe that our priorities have been misplaced. We have lost site of what truly matters, the next generation. Instead of focusing on their well-being, we are being bogged down with partisan politics and shortsighted solutions. We need to prioritize education that fosters creativity and character development. With borders being open, we have No Country and it’s putting us and our children in harms way, as human trafficking has doubled in the last three years. We need to support our teachers and involve the parents so they can provide a nurturing environment that allows our children to thrive and be raised with good moral values, getting back to basics! But it’s not just about education. It’s time we address the systematic issues that are pulling the rug out from under our children’s future. We need to address economic inequality so they have access to the same opportunities, regardless of their background, race, faith or gender. It’s time that we recognize that our children’s future is not a partisan issue; it’s a human issue! We owe it to them to act with courage, compassion, and foresight. As your State Representative, I promise to put the next generation first! I will fight for policies that support our children’s education, health and well-being. I will work tirelessly to ensure that our state is a place where they can grow thrive and reach their full potential.
